Top Holiday Gifts 2024

This time last year, my husband and I were exploring the Amalfi Coast. I spent the majority of our trip searching for the best Italian leather goods for all of our family members. I thought, for once, I had a great Christmas gift idea that our family members would love (and I would knock out shopping early). A year later, my mom and mother-in-law have never worn their very expensive leather handbags. My dad has not used his leather wallet. My siblings haven't used their gifts either. My parents, in laws, and siblings do not make Christmas lists. If you are part of those families that make amazon lists of exactly what they want, that's amazing. This article is not for you.

We all want to spoil our loved ones with something they will use and love that they normally would not buy themselves. I have tried to book experiences for my siblings and parents in the past. A gift card to a restaurant or a hotel night stay is always a great gesture. If you are looking for gifts to unwrap, these are my top gift ideas.

Top Gifts for Mom & Dad... especially for the parents that "have everything" or "don't need anything"

This is surprisingly the best gift I have bought myself and my husband this year. My teeth feel better with this than after a cleaning. It is the priciest toothbrush I have ever bought, but far worth it.

The 9 series actually on sale right now. I paid over $300 for each. It is on sale for $240 right now. The series 10 is very similar to the series 9.

My favorite things about this toothbrush:

  • Magnetic charger. Charges fast <4h. Charge lasts at least 2 weeks

  • The color changing pressure sensor. It turns red when you are pushing too hard and green if you are pushing just right.

  • The sleek travel case is just that- very sleek. You can also charge the toothbrush while in the case.

  • The round brush head gets a lot of surface area.

  • 7 smart modes: sensitive, extra sensitive, daily clean, deep space, gum health, tongue clean. I have very sensitive teeth with mildly receding gums. This toothbrush is perfect.

  • The 2 min and 3 min timer is great. It vibrates for me to change position. Goal brushing is 2minutes, but 3 minutes will get you a smiley with heart eyes!

This is worth the investment! I would buy the 9 series while it is on sale (or the 10 series if you want the most up to date- it is on flash sale right now for only $20 more than the 9 series). I surprised my husband with this toothbrush. He thanks me almost every day he brushes his teeth.

I bought this for my husband last year for Christmas. I paid $400. It is on sale for $300 right now. This is our most used appliance this past year. Small footprint, heats up fast, and is easy to navigate.

We use it as an elective grill mostly. It has many different setting on it (pizza- with different selection of pizza types, meats, etc). A common date night or friends night is personal pizzas. The ninja obtains a far better char on the pizza than the oven or regular gas grill. We also cook all of our steaks on it now. We frequent steak houses in all cities. Our steaks from this Ninja rival the best steakhouses. We previously cooked our steaks via stovetop and oven on iron skillets. The ninja is far superior. We also roast vegetables and bake breads in it. This is a superb, easy gift for your parents. You can also use it as a smoker.

This was my surprise gift from my husband last year for Christmas. At first, I thought- is a hot water dispenser worth >$150 when I have one that works perfectly fine from Walmart? YES. I use this everyday. I love the look of it. It sits permanently on my counter. I use it for teas & pour over coffees. I have used it for the past year with no molding yet. I love than I can manipulate the temperate easily. If your parents love tea or drip coffee, I highly recommend this.

My mom is the hardest to shop for. I usually give her gift cards; however, I love when I can buy her something she normally wouldn't spoil herself with that she ends up loving. The ugg slippers ended up being that. I will say, I have had my current UGG slippers for ~4 years. I wear them everyday. They are starting to wear down. I love the hard sole and cozy inside still. I highly recommend these.
